When I tell people we are heading to Kentucky for our summer travels, the most common question is "Do you have family or friends there?"
The next questions are:
"Are you going to see the Kentucky Derby?" and
"Are you going to eat Kentucky Fried Chicken? "
The answers are: No, No and probably not! Well, maybe real Kentucky Fried Chicken but not likely KFC!
OK, so why go?
It started with a desire to go to the Creation Museum and spiraled from there.
Over the last few months we have been studying up on Kentucky and I have come to the conclusion I'd like to spend at least a month there. so, please pray for us as we have to make choices on what to exclude and what to include.
Pray for great weather - they are in a heat wave now of about 109 degree F. Pray for great wheelchair accessibility, and that God would be our Tour Guide showing us His world and introducing us to His people - Kentuckians!
