Into Kentucky

It's been another long day in the van, but we made it.
Anna-Lee has her own blog - you can find it at http://letseatkentuckyfriedchicken.blogspot.com/
but she also will add her views here.

From Anna-Lee
I really like Cincinnati from what we got to see zipping on through today!
The tunnel, the incredible bridges, and the architecture!

I don't know what this building is, but I like it!

Today was mostly passing the time.
We brought so many books on tape it was a full time job for Anna-Lee to find a place for them all! But, today we listened to part of a book called The Phantom Tollbooth. We have read it before, but it is so funny.
We also played a game a friend gave us for our travels called Scavenger Hunt. It is so much fun because it isn't just things you can see to find, but also things you  hear or even smell! One of the smells was supposed to be a yucky smell. I chose the tarring of asphalt, but Anna-Lee chose my sandwich!!!
We also played the acronym license plate game. Take the three or four letters of a license plate and make a saying. The funniest one I think was FPZ (Flying penguins zipline)!

Anna-Lee was totally ready to find a restaurant!
And we take selfies in the van!

From Linda
I have to admit, Cincinnati is very pretty.
Our first glimpse of the Ohio River. The bridge goes from Cincinnati to Kentucky!
That's about it for today!
Our plan is the Ark Encounter tomorrow.
